Katie is a Speech-Language Pathologist for Illinois Early Intervention who earned her Bachelor and Master of Health Science from the University of Missouri. During her graduate school clinicals, Katie had experiences working with a wide range of ages, particularly with children ages 2-7 with a variety of speech and language disorders, both in a group-therapy setting and one-on-one sessions. During her graduate school clinical rotations, Katie gained experiences in an elementary/high school, skilled nursing facility, and children’s hospital. Over the last year, Katie completed her Clinical Fellowship working in Early Intervention with children ages birth-3. Here she has had experiences working with children with receptive and expressive language, articulation, autism, cleft palate, feeding/swallowing, and sensory processing needs. She currently continues to serve children in Early Intervention and looks forward to providing speech and language services at Speech Camp this summer!
