Jackie is a licensed and registered occupational therapist who received her Master of Occupational Therapy degree from College of Saint Mary in 2016. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, with a concentration in Psychology, from DePaul University. During her time as an undergraduate student, Jackie worked with children and families in a preschool setting. She went on to become a teacher, then an outreach worker for schools and a youth and family social service agency. As a graduate student, she completed adult inpatient acute care and pediatric clinic fieldwork rotations. She has experience with a variety of populations, which include children with autism spectrum disorder, sensory processing disorder, and physical and cognitive delays. Jackie has additionally worked with adults with Down’s syndrome. Before joining EB Pediatric Resources, she worked as an occupational therapist in rehabilitation therapy at a skilled nursing facility. She is a Certified Illinois Early Intervention Specialist. Jackie enjoys working and building rapport with children and families, to meet goals and help them achieve greater functioning within their everyday lives. She also looks forward to assist Polish-speaking families, as Jackie is fluent in Polish and English.
