Ally is the Director of Patient Services and received her Master of Arts in Speech Language Pathology from Hampton University in April 2013. She earned her undergraduate in 2009 in Communicative Sciences and Disorders from Michigan State University. Ally currently holds licensure through the State of Illinois as well as credentialing through the Early Intervention Program. She also holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence through ASHA and is SOS Feeding certified.. Ally has experience across multiple settings include acute care, outpatient, clinic, pre-k and elementary school. Additionally, Ally was involved in evaluation and diagnosis of speech/language and swallowing disorders at the Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital., Sentara Outpatient Therapy Center, and Sentara Neurology Clinic in conjunction with teams of neurologists, respiratory therapists, occupational and physical therapists. Ally has experience diagnosing and treating speech and language disorders across multiple populations, including children with cleft palate, genetic syndromes, autism spectrum disorders, hearing-impaired, cochlear implants, cerebral palsy, and other impairments. Currently, Ally provides clinic and home based speech and language services, as well as feeding and swallowing therapy to the pediatric population.
